Borobudur, Yogyakarta, Indonesia

Went to Yogyakarta, Indonesia on 7th Dec 2013 via Airasia.  Booked Hotel Tentrem at Agoda for only RM786 per nite inclusive of breakfast for 2 persons. Highly recommend Hotel Tentrem. The staff are friendly, room are huge and quite convenient location. Opposite the hotel you got K-Mart(convenience store), Paris bakery shop and walking distance to Massage centre.

Not recommend to visit Borobudur in the month of December as it rains everyday. Difficult for you to walk around at Maliobolo (so called shopping street). We did not manage to go up to the Bukit Merapi due to heavy rain.

One word advise, always book the hotel spa on your first day. We did not able to use the spa as it was fully booked, so sad. 

We visited Borobudur and the journey from our hotel to Borobudur takes more than one and half hour.  Tips to share: do not buy any souvenirs on your way in to Borobudur.  You will be able to negotiate for better rate when you exit.  They will harass you the moment you walk down from the staircase

We had our lunch at The Grand Duck King at Hotel Tentrem, the food was delicious.

For transportation, do contact Bambang. He is very reliable and good driver cum guide. 

Mariner of Sea, Royal Carribean Cruise

We took the Mariner of Sea on 16th November 2013 via  Klang - Singapore - Klang route for 4 days 3 nights.  We board the ship at Glenn Terminal Klang at 1pm. We head for our lunch at Windjammer Restaurant at Deck 11, there serve buffet. The place is too crowded and difficult to find place to seat.  Food is horrible.

We stay at the promenade room, the room are quite huge with additional sofa.

We enjoyed our dinner serve at Rhapsody Blue at Deck 3, dedicated waiter and proper seating arrangement. Our dinner time is always 5.45pm.  We get to try all types of dessert. 

You can have supper at Promenade cafe and there only drawback is that the menu is the same every day. After 2 days you will be bored with the food.

Only few hours in Singapore therefore is very rush.   We got our passport at 9.30am and we got to return to the cruise before 3.30pm. 

I attended the towel making class, using towel to make animals such as elephant, dog, swan, frog, monkey and etc. Very creative!!

If you have never been on cruise, then you can try. For me, one time is more than enough.

Bangkok, Thailand- Aug 2013

We flew to Bangkok using MAS on 29th August 2013. Flight was delay for one and half hour.

We stayed at Arnoma Hotel, the location is so convenient, next to it is Big C Hypermarket, 10 mins walk to Platinum Mall, Central is just opposite, 10 mins walk to Central Departmental Store at Chilom, 5 min walk to Erawan Shrine.

We booked our Chao Phraya Cruise at the hotel tour desk for RM140 pax inclusive of pick up from hotel. We choose Grand Pearl. It was awesome. We were welcome by Elvis Presly impersonator before we on board to the cruise. The food selection was great. We enjoyed the Philippines band and the night view of Chao Phraya River.

It rains every day. Finally I able to visit Asiatique via boat from Sapthan Thaksin.

Made using Condoms at Cabages & Condoms

We had our dinner at Cabbages and Condom. We enjoy seeing those condoms packaging, weird pictures and souvenir items more than the food. You are given complimentary of male and female condom at the end of your meal. Cute rite!!

Lunch at Laem Cha-Roen Seafood Restaurant at Central World. This meal cost us RM600.

4WD Excursion at Lata Berembun Waterfall, Raub

4WD excursion to Lata Berembun Waterfall. It tooks us 45 minutes journey to the waterfall from Sg. Klau.  Bumpy ride all the way and it was fun.

We had picnic there,  ate nasi lemak and then follow by Gua Musang Durian which included in the package. If you want to eat durian, the best time to visit is in August. Surprisingly there is no mosquitoes. The is no proper lighting in the toilet. In fact the toilet is quite dirty.

We dip ourself into the water and is really cold. The water is very clear.

We then drop by to Bukit Koman for famous home made beancurb @ tau foo pok and hakka kuih @ snacks.

You can ask them for direction to the famous home made beancurb which is just around the corner. Just drive carefully as the road are quite narrow.

Mani Thai Restaurant @ Sabak Bernam

Mani Thai Restaurant at Ulu Bernam, exit from Tanjung Malim toll. The owner is an architect and the way he design the place was awsome.   Surroundings with nature. Good ambience to chill out. In fact only an hour drive from Kuala Lumpur.

Great  thai food.

Worm or Mites dropping from your ear at Sekinchan

Went to Sekinchan and friend brought us to a place where you "steam" your ear and you will see mites dropping from your ear.
